How Long Do We Retain Data?

We keep your Personal Information for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed as set out in this Privacy Policy. These periods vary depending on the nature of the information and your interaction with us.

If you decide you no longer want an account with us, you can delete your account by submitting a request for deactivation. This means, for example, that you won’t get messages or emails from us anymore. Once your information has been deleted, you will not be able to restore that information later. You should be aware that certain information about you may still be available on other users’ apps and will not be deleted by us.

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. You are responsible for helping to protect the security of your information by having a strong password unique to missINFORMED that you keep confidential and protecting your device. It is important that you protect and maintain your account’s security and immediately tell us of any unauthorized access or use of your account by sending an email to info@missinformed.ca.

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Product ("Service Providers"), provide the Product on our behalf, perform Service-related services or assist us in analyzing how our Product is used. We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Product.

Google Analytics. Google Analytics is an analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Product. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

Children’s Privacy

our Platform does not address anyone under the age of 18 ("Children" or “Child”). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from any user under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us.
